Local Wendy’s Manager wins Top 200 Award

Lakeland – Kandi Nase, General Manager for the Local Wendy’s Franchise, Wen-Lake, beat out 6700 other General Managers in the Wendy’s system to receive the honor of being in the top 200.  Nase started working for Wendy’s while still in high school and has worked her way up to General Manager of the newest Wendy’s on US HWY 98 South as well as being a Training Store Manager.  To win the honor she exemplified Dave Thomas’ core values, had inspection scores of 95 plus, which included customer experience evaluations, maintained cleanliness, food and labor cost.

Presenting the award to Nase was Wen-Lake owner,  George Banning. The prizes  include an all expense paid trip to Wendy’s headquarters in Columbus Ohio.

In the top 500 ranking awards was General Manager Latasha Adams, who managed the restaurant in Bartow bringing it up to a Dave’s Way restaurant while maintaining food and labor cost and exceeding customer experience evaluations.

“We are a small company compared to other franchisees who have 40-50 restaurants.  To have two managers win the honor of top 500 and top 200 is unheard in a small company, we are over the top in excitement. Both Adams and Nase have been great managers and a delight to work with,” stated George Banning, Franchise owner.
